• Marysville School

    Marysville SchoolThe Marysville School, located at 911 Sunny Acres, is a historic school building built in 1915 by the Pacolet Manufacturing Company to serve the African-American community in the area. The school closed in 1954 shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court ruling of Brown v. Board of Education but still stands as an important part of the history of Pacolet. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
